Every item we offer has been developed based on customer feedback.
We stretch as much air as possible into the candy to create a texture not far removed from honeycomb.

Confection Obsession is a small, family owned and operated small batch, sugar confectionery manufacturer in Townsville, North Queensland.

Within you will find a boiled sweet wonderland. With such a giant range of flavours you're sure to find at least one you love.

We pride ourselves on creating a fun and welcoming environment where you won't be rushed.

Sometimes it can get a little chaotic, but it's organised chaos and all part of the fun.

We love to experiment with different flavours and types of confections. You'll often find secret little treats not listed on the website when you visit in person.

Confection Obsession was born out of necessity - a need for a sense of purpose outside of our own home and creative outlet. We wanted to spread as many smiles as far and wide as we can. That's why we're committed to keeping our prices as low as possible. It's all about flavour and texture here, bringing sweets back to what they were. Simple, beautiful and delicious.

Wholesale
We are now proud to be able to offer wholesale at a much larger capacity.

Over the last few months we have honed our processes and techniques, streamlining efficiency to offer lower and bulk rates.

It's our mission to create moments of pure delight that you'll want to relive again and again.

All of our boiled sweets are entirely hand made by Jace & Scott who have been together for 10 years - these perfectly flavoured little treats are made with heart and soul. Without us working as one, Confection Obsession wouldn't exist.

Freeze Dried Foods
We are proud to soon be able to offer freeze dried foods at a much grander scale and to start growing the range there from just confectionery to fruit and vegetables as well.

With a processing capacity of up to 1 tonne per day, the possibilities are endless.

Location
We have opened our doors to the public so you can come and watch how it's all done from stretching sugar for rock, to whipping up the marshmallows - you'll get to see it all.

You can still find us at markets around town where we always have sample packs open for tasting. That is still going to be our primary POS and we intended on continuing with markets throughout next year.
